Message you say "his slave cylinder keeps going empty"....dude, the slave cylinder is the one at the bottom on the bellhousing, not the one up on the firewall that the clutch pedal pushes on. Therefore, if it is empty then the slave cylinder is what is leaking as obviously the fluid is not going to run up the line into the master cylinder to leak out. I suppose you mean that the "master" cylinder keeps running out of fluid(the one with the lid on it on the firewall). You HAVE to look and see where the fluid is leaking from to be able to tell where the leak is. It will either leak from where the master cylinder mounts to the firewall, in which case the leak is most likely the seal inside the master cylinder. If the leak is on the outside of the master cylinder, wipe it clean with a paper towel, really good, then pump the clutch a few times and see if the leak is comming from where the clutch line screws into the master cylinder. If neither of those is the problem, then the master cylinder and upper line end are fine. Go to the slave cylinder now. Do the same thing....clean it off really good and pump the clutch..see if the fluid leaks where the lines goes in, or out of where the shaft comes out. If it leaks out of where the shaft comes out then the seal in the slave cylinder is shot.

Bleeding: just like bleeding the brakes. there is a "bleed nipple" on the slave cylinder. Put a lenght of tube over nipple into a suitable container. Have friend get in car, you crack open bleeder slightly, he presses clutch down. With him STILL HOLDING CLUTCH DOWN tighten nipple up. Tell him to release clutch. Repeat till no air comes out anymore in the fluid. Make sure he does not let up on teh pedal before you tighten the nipple or it will pull air into the system and negate all teh work you just did. Also, make sure the level in the master cylinder does not get low or you will suck in air that way.
